Quinella betting and exacta betting can produce good returns because you can still get a collect from quinella betting if your main selection comes second. As separately discussed for trifecta betting, some second place selections are more likely to come second in quinellas and exactas than traditionally expected. This clearly has implications for working out quinella systems and exacta systems.
