How Extra Form Works

Extra Form works by going back through your previous weeks horse racing form guide downloads to find extra past horse racing form runs to display. As it displays the past horse racing form runs it totals up statistics not in your normal horse racing form guide like distance plus or minus 10% and last 12 month performance. If you are new to Bet Selector and haven't accumulated any past form downloads then you will still be able to view the last ten starts in the horse racing form guide and can get more as BestForm have a deal where you can get past horse racing form free of charge back to 1 October 2007.

More Ratings in Extra Form

The top rated horses from the "Extra Form" horse racing form guide win around 18% of the time - a somewhat lower than traditionally expected strike rate but more than made up for by the fact that our top rated horses frequently win at double figure odds. To improve upon this, a new rating method was devised back in 2001 that produces a higher strike rate from the top rated horse and a breakeven to 10% profit from backing every top rated in every Saturday Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane race!
